Key points about USMLE Steps
This medical licensing exam consists upon three steps, USMLE Step 1, Step 2 CK, and Step 3.
Step 1
This is a pass or fail CBT (Computer Based Testing) exam, which consists upon seven blocks, and each block lasts for 60 minutes duration. This step tests candidate’s knowledge for basic sciences related topics such as biochemistry, anatomy, pathology, and pharmacology.
