MOH exam structure, passing score, oral exam
The written exam for pediatric specialty consists upon Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) related to clinical scenarios or cases related to the specialty. These MCQs evaluate the candidate for his/her clinical skills and knowledge for Pediatric related issues such as Growth and development, Acute care, Gastro, Cardio, Respiratory, Neuro and other related issues. A best Pediatric Question bank(Qbank) will be able to prepare you well with such related questions.
The candidate must target atleast 70% passing score to be able to successfully clear this exam. This passing score may vary based upon the available seats for the specialty with the concerned health regulatory authority.
After successfully clearing your written exam, you may be asked to sit for an oral examination. This exam again thoroughly checks your ability to handle your specialty related cases. During this exam, you will probably see a panel of 3 to 5 learned expert doctors, asking 3 to 5 different questions related to different clinical scenarios related to your specialty.
MOH Pediatric – Eligibility Requirements
Candidate who is willing to apply for Pediatrician specialty must fulfill the basic eligibility requirements. Must have completed postgraduate training for pediatric specialty. Should have sufficient clinical experience to be able to sit for this exam.
