
MOH exam requirements for General Dentists
To apply as General Dentist for MOH exam, one should have successfully completed 5 year’s dental degree (i.e. BDS, DDS, DMD or its equivalent) from a recognized dental school listed on Avicenna database (formerly WHO directory of medical and dental school), and additionaly should have completed one year housejob / internship afterwards. Dental graduates must have registration and practice license from their home country.
Requirements for Specialist and Consultant:
To apply as specialist or consultant for MOH exam, one should have primary dental degree from a recognized dental school listed on Avicenna database (formerly WHO directory of medical and dental school). Candidate should have completed post-graduation certificate comprising of minimum 2 (two) years duration as per recognized specialty certificates. But for some specialties like Orthodontics, Endodontics, Prothodontics, requirements may vary.
Candidate must have registration and valid practice license from his/her home country or country of last employment and should have no interruption in clinical practice for more than 2 years. Based upon clinical experience, candidate is allocated to different tiers.
