Is passing the MOH test guarantees the job offer in the UAE?
NO. Finding a job remains the responsibility of the doctor who should ensure that he/she is well informed about the opportunities for work before embarking on the MOH exam.
What are the jobbing options for healthcare professionals in UAE?
Although there are three types of health sectors available for jobs here, namely Government, military and private sector. But, most foreign healthcare professionals, especially from subcontinent like, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Nepal, try for private sector, as mostly locals or western doctors are preferred on first two. The good news is, that there are more private healthcare facilities in UAE then government, or military facilities, and it is expending very rapidly due to medical tourism, especially in Dubai, which is attracting patients from Russia, Europe, Africa and various parts of Asia also.
