Requirements for GPs (General Practitioner):
Candidate willing to apply for DHA GP exam should have graduated from a recognised Medical school.
If he/she is a Non UAE Nationals or International Medical Graduates (IMGs) then he/she should have atleast 2 years' clinical experience post internship out of which one year must be in general practice setup. But those who graduated from a UAE medical school accredited by MOHSER, additional experience as clinical trainee is required for one years after internship.

Requirements for Specialist and Consultant:
Candidate should have graduated from a recognised Medical school and should have Completed Recognized Specialty Certificate. Candidate is allocated based upon his/her experience from Tier 1 (no experience required) to Tier 3(three years experience required) for specialist and Tier 1 (2 years experience required) to Tier 2 (8 years experience required) for consultant.
For specialist physician who do not meet the experience requirements, a provisional license will be issued for the candidate by the name of 'Specialist Under Supervision'.
